Correspondent members can sell and adopt ISO International Standards nationally.

Subscriber members keep up to date on ISO’s work but cannot participate in it.

This helps us to be inclusive while also recognizing the different needs and capacity of each national standards body.

Full members (or member bodies) influence ISO standards development and strategy by participating and voting in ISO technical and policy meetings.

Membership in IDA, IFC and MIGA are conditional on membership in IBRD. The organizations that make up the World Bank Group are owned by the governments of member nations, which have the ultimate decision-making power within the organizations on all matters, including policy, financial or membership issues.

Member countries govern the World Bank Group through the Boards of Governors and the Boards of Executive Directors.

A central element of this cooperation is the promotion of direct and active participation of the Key Partners in the work of substantive bodies of the Organisation.

Useful links In May 2013, the OECD Council decided to launch accession discussions with Colombia and Latvia; in April 2015, it invited Costa Rica and Lithuania to open formal OECD accession talks.
