On the north side of the county is the geological area of the Weald, characterised by woodland, namely part of Ashdown Forest, rolling hills, scattered farms and villages.In the southern part, we point out the terrains of the South Downs known for the chalk uplands, as Beachy Head, close to Eastbourne City, and the cliffs of Seven Sisters meeting the sea.Check out the webcams for great views of whats going on in the area.Battle Abbey was built to commemorate the 1066 battle of Hastings and there are great castles at Herstmonceux, Lewes and Pevensey.We welcome visitors to the club and have hosted numerous national championships and open meetings over the years.
The south eastern county of East Sussex has plenty of attractions, some almost as old as the hills themselves.
The club operates a Training Academy which offers a number of RYA courses for both adults and juniors and across the ability range.
We own our own training fleet, which consists of Picos, Laser’s, Toppers and a Laser Vago, and our courses prove to be very popular.
